This is a great breakfast and lunch spot in Myrtle beach. They serve a great amount of food for a very good price. I got the country fried steak with sausage gravy, two fried eggs, grits and a side of buttered toast. My husband ordered bacon, 2 fried eggs, hash browns and buttered toast. We both washed our food down with Mimosas and we were very satisfied! I will eat there again.

We stopped here on our summer vacation with our children and came back to give it a try in off season. Delicious Hawaiian pancakes. Classic myrtle beach interior design. Friendly staff makes sure your order arrives nice and hot. We will be back.

I hope you came hungry because the portions are HUGE! The pancakes ate top notch! I got the pancake wrapped sausage with a side of biscuts and gravy and I wish I could have eaten it all! Great breakfast and super friendly staff! A side note: like most breakfast places you do have to pay upfront, so be sure to leave a tip at the table.

Breakfast done right. Everything we ordered came out piping hot and was delicious.
Our waitress was excellent as well.
I wish I knew her name so I could let her know as well.

We just had a yummy breakfast here. I had the cinnamon roll waffle and was able to eat half plus one piece of my mama's chipped beef on texas toast. Both were delicious! My daughter got a waffle, bacon, and home fries. The waitress was very friendly and it was our best meal on this trip.

There are not enough words to describe this place and these people. Always friendly, always accommodating, food is always on point. We come to MB twice a year and usually have between 15-30 people with us. They have the sunroom saved especially for us most of the times, and if they don't...they push tables together and make sure that we can all sit together. Never an upset employee about it, only smiles and love here. Thank you for making our bike events memorable!! ????

From beach goers to church goers on a Sunday morning, this is a local gem. Owned by the same people who run Dino’s Pancake House across the street, the Plantation Pancake House is a better option: less crowded, friendly servers and a nice variety of specials. Pancakes were fluffy and fresh. I would give them 5 stars if the bacon wasn’t rubbery. But still, in this area the Plantation Pancake House is one of your best breakfast options.

The owner genuinely has the most beautiful heart! When we were walking into the restaurant she was going outside and we overheard her offering to buy a couple with their luggage sitting on the bench. their breakfast on her. The wait staff was amazing and the owner came by with a smile and spoke to us as well at our table. Delightful Place highly recommended especially for Children and Families!

  • *****

A very delicious breakfast served by a very delightful waitress. Very cordial we had a wonderful chat with her while dining. Our next visit to Myrtle Beach will definetly include a visit here.

  • *****

We have been coming here for years and the have consistently gone above and beyond to help their customers. The food is delicious and comforting and very affordable. Couldn't recommend this place more!

We had breakfast at two pancake houses in Myrtle Beach - Plantation was the best, by far. The pancakes are so good you won't want to ruin them with syrup! We took a lot of pictures of our food, but how surprised we were when a cute girl took a picture of my family and me. Great post card. Thank you.

We went here on a Sunday morning and the restaurant was really busy. Even though service was great and our server was very personable. My son had a Surfside Omelet and liked it a lot. I had the Pennsylvania Benedict. The chipped beef was good, the eggs (over light) were average. We asked for extra crispy bacon and extra crispy hash browns. The bacon was delicious, the hash browns were not extra crispy. Apart from food you can get a postcard for free which is a good idea I think.

Very good breakfast the service was good. We felt like we stepped back into the 70's. Nice and convenient off hwy 17 with a large parking lot. I do have to say they made my eggs the way I asked which is always a problem for the cooks at other breakfast restaurants. We got our picture taken and they got us for $20, but what the hey we are on vacation.

  • *****

The food was really good. My eggs were scrambled perfectly (yes some places ruin them). Our server was attentive and did a great job.

  • *****

Food is always great no matter what time I visit! Friendly staff, clean, huge menu with some unique choices i.e. crab cakes Benedict- so good! Perfect for family breakfast or lunch! Yummy pancakes and waffles! Lots of food for little money!

We always love eating at Plantation. We wouldn’t eat at another breakfast place around! ??

  • *****

Food is amazing! Staff is very friendly and professional, fast service, clean interior and exterior, cheap prices. Highly recommend trying these guys if you've never been here. This is a frequent spot for locals and travelers.

We have 2 grandsons that need gluten free bread. We googled North Myrtle Beach and found Plantation Pancake House. The food was very good and the service was great. Our server was very friendly and kept making sure we had everything we needed. The next time we're in the area we'll definitely co e back to the Plantation Pancake House.

having breakfast at plantation became our tradition, every time we’re on our way to visit my parents. ppl who work there are so nice and friendly. also a part of our tradition is to take a complimentary postcard with our picture from plantation. the photographer is very sweet there, she’s always happy to see us and take our picture. every time we leave with a good feeling and full stomachs. love this place. thank you guys for doing the great job!!

  • *****

Great place! Beautiful decor, great service, good specials with kid and senior option, and they have gluten free pancakes and waffles. My husband was ecstatic when he was served freshly made and cooked GF pancakes and they tasted delicious. One of the best places at the beach!

  • *****

Good food at a good price. Our family of 5 ate for only $40! That's amazing considering it's location. Very friendly service as well at all levels. The photographer while not typical for most restaurants was a nice option for us. We ended up purchasing the family photo they offered.

After a hard morning, my boyfriend and I were wanting a good hearty breakfast. This was not our first choice pancake house though. The first one we wanted to go to was too busy and people were actually waiting outside in a line, the second place was just closed, so we walked over to Plantation. Let me tell you, it was busy too. Nevertheless, we were seated without a wait. Looking at the menu, the only pricey things on it were the sides. We put in our order and despite the craziness of the Father's Day/Church crowd, we got our food within 15 minutes. I was very impressed. The food was good, too.
The sugar scrub Plantation had in the bathroom was very nice.
On a side note, if you have a very sophisticated tea palate, the hot tea isn't the best. It's just your boring pekoe orange tea. Not very strong. With that being said, I do enjoy the bold and strong teas.
    I recomend Plantation Pancake House.

Mrs. Barbie the owner is very nice and understanding and will go out of her way to make her customers happy... excellent place to eat!!!

Me and my family loved this family business. We were here earlier today. Everybody is so friendly, we could see the staff permanetly comunicating with their customers and they made us feel really comfortable. The whole atmosphere was very enjoyable and we will cherish the little postcard they offer as a souvenir, which came as a surprise (great idea btw and the lady was very proffessional and sweet) and it's now hanging on our fridge. Great job guys!

  • *****

Best breakfast I've had in year, great service staff were very courteous and professional. Will definitely be back my next trip to the coast. Thanks guys.

  • *****

I visit here multiple times everytime I come to the beach. Breakfast is always great. Very friendly staff. A little bit of a wait but its worth it. Has always been very clean when i go even when its super busy. Only had lunch there once but it was good that one time. Will continue to eat here.

  • *****

Food was really good but they service was amazing. Great service makes a huge difference.

  • *****

My husband an I love this place. When in town we only go here or there other restaurant DINO’S. I love it because it is constantly great, no matter what we order. Quality and Quantity. The owner is so friendly and so is the staff. I feel
like I’m at a family members home but I don’t have to help clean up. There are lots of pancake houses? But no matter how many pop up, this place beats it hand down. It is like putting sunshine into my mouth as I eat the food. Gets us ready for a fun filled day at the beach or doing a fun activity with friends or our kids if they come with us. We never walk out of there hungry or unhappy. You have to try this pancake house. Best of all they serve mimosas!? ? ?It is 5:00 somewhere. You have to try this place, promise it will not disappoint!

  • *****

When you see the place is packed... you know the food is good!!! And it was great food and great service!

  • *****

We went to the N Myrtle Beach location and it was a fantastic breakfast. Portion size great and fantastic flavor. Service excellent.

  • *****

Fresh, plentiful good. Clean place with nice atmosphere. Service was excellent. Coffee is delicious. Will go back.

  • *****

We had breakfast here yesterday morning on our way home from Myrtle Beach.
The service was good, and the food was good.
The decor is very cute, we loved the atmosphere
We had the 2 pancakes, 1egg and bacon, with coffee.
    We would recommend this place

I'm a NMB local and I eat at this restaurant at least 4 times a week. Not sure where the low ratings come from because I have never gotten a bad meal in the six years that I have lived here. The Stuffed French Toast is fantastic, the Country Fried Steak can only be done better by my wife, and the service is friendly and quick. There are a couple of weeks of the year that are challenging for staff and customers when the Bikers come to town. I go early those weeks and everything is fine but anyone coming down for the bike weeks should exercise a bit of patience.

    Great food and customer service!

Best breakfast on the beach! Great waitress! We have been going here for years and never had a bad experience. If it looks crowded, no worries they move people in and out very efficiently.

Great food and great service big breakfast portions will be back again

  • *****

Always the friendliest place, with the best food. Service is great, and always with a smile. My recommendation is the #68.

  • *****

We have been coming here for the last 13 years. I always enjoy the food and the staff!!

  • *****

5 Star food. Awesome friendly service. NO STICKY TABLES! The place is super clean, most "Pancake places " are sticky city. Home cooked food, specials weekdays. Turkey dinners, great burgers, incredible pancakes, the country fried steak is heavenly. All at super reasonable prices.....actually ridiculously low prices. Their Greek Salad is Huge!
The owners "get it" right. Just love this place.
They treat you like family. . ( the cool ones you like!)

  • *****

If you are in this area, they have the very Best breakfast!

  • *****

Pancake house was very good nice staff good food try this place you will like it

  • *****

    Best Pancakes
Plantation serves the best pancakes in Myrtle Beach. You'll know by the line standing to wait for a table. Before leaving to drive home, this is our place of choice to send us off. They have a huge menu, variety of syrups and different flavored pancakes to please anyone. Prices are great, coffee is always hot and rich. This is one of the best deals for breakfast, and well worth the wait for the table. Highly recommended

  • *****

    Great Food!
Great pancake house in Myrtle Beach. As other places, be prepared to wait, but the food is so worth it! Great service as well!

  • *****

    Best food at Myrtle Beach
we were honor to eat great food and have the greatest service ever. Plantation House is truly the greatest place to eat when you are in Myrtle Beach. My and my wife and in-laws ate there for all five days of our stay. And whenever we return to the Crescent Dunes area next year we will surely eat here. And have for seven years now.

  • *****

Large portions, great prices, and everything is made from scratch. My only complaint would be that the service needs some work because we felt a bit rushed while there other then that highly recommend it.

  • *****

Love this place! We stayed a week in North Myrtle Beach and had breakfast here every morning. The staff is amazing and a lot of fun. They do get busy but in my eyes that is a good sign. My children loved the hot chocolate and the fact that they could color and their coloring page got hung up for everyone to see. The staff makes you feel welcomed and they have many regular customers they even had a birthday cake for one of their regulars. I like the way they treat people. The food was really good and we will have breakfast there whenever we are in South Carolina.

  • *****

The best breakfast we found! Bacon bacon bacon! Whatever you get... Get it with bacon! Coffee was strong but very good! Customer service was better than a lot of the "big" restaurants.

  • *****

Wonderful wait staff, and we couldn't get over the choices for omelettes! The waitress was super patient with us as we navigated the menu, and made some great recommendations. So happy we came for our first breakfast in town. It's not fancy, just a nice place to visit.

  • *****

Great food! I had the BLT egg sandwich on rye. It was perfect! Boyfriend had an omelette. We both enjoyed our meals. Would come back!

  • *****

We wanted some good food after our putt-putt date night. It was so good! Our waitress was so great, her name was Sheila! She was so funny and was great with our food order! The breakfast food was exactly what we were wanting. We will be back as soon as possible! Thanks, Sheila!

  • *****

This was the best thing I ate the whole weekend in north myrtle beach. I had the French toast and my husband had the plantation special and they were both delicious. It was also really well priced!

  • *****

Gluten free pancakes were super yummy, definitely nice that they offered them. Very friendly staff and clean diner. Breakfast was good and came out fast. Would recommend for a quick bite! It's diner food so I wouldn't say it's the best food I've ever had, but it sufficed!

  • *****

Gluten free pancakes are available for 50 cents up charge for each pancake. They are a little dry but not bad.

  • *****

awesome food and tacky decor. I felt like I was having breakfast in Vegas. that's not a bad thing seeing as it was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. the best part was when one of the waitresses had an emotional breakdown. it had something to do with a guy that was being mean to her. i couldnt tell if it was business related or personal but i did enjoy the part when the manager went to console her by repeatedly saying "men are jerks and then you get married to one." ENTERTAINMENT! Aside from all of that, everything I ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I do recommend.

Stopped in at PPH after finding a reference to gluten-free pancakes. I'm glad I found the on-line reference, because the GF pancakes aren't listed on the menu. (They were listed on the specials board, but I didn't see that until I was paying the check.)

Firstly, the place gets props for even having GF pancakes. I've found very few in my travels, so the boss doesn't get them on the road very often.

The regular blueberry pancakes were as good as I've ever had. The stack of 3 huge pancakes was more than I could eat, and, believe me, I can eat! I had sausage patties on the side, and they were quite good. The link sausages the boss had were good, but my vote goes to the patties.

The gluten-free pancakes were a tad under done- I believe they need to be cooked on a slightly cooler grill for just a little longer than regular pancakes. PPH has only been offering the GF cakes for about 6 months, so I expect adjustments will come.

From a service standpoint, you won't find better! The hostess/manager was friendly and prompt. The server, Renee, was fantastic! Friendly, fast, and attentive.

Visited Myrtle Beach this past week and the Plantation Pancake house was my "go-to". Brandy (the waitrees) was awesome - great service. The food tasted homemade - just like I was eating at a friend's house. The lunch special was a great value at $6.00!! Breakfast was really delish. Bonus, they open at 10pm so that you can get a late night dinner/snack after hanging out.

  • *****

Great restaurant with options for everyone! It is open from 10pm to 2pm, so perfect for those midnight cravings! It's a local favorite, and rightfully so. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Everything is made to order and fresh as can be!

  • *****

This is my favorite place for breakfast on the Strand (This and Tar Baby's). Everything is good and my favorite is the country style steak with eggs. The fantastic staff makes you feel at home and the regular crowd is very cool and welcoming. Great prices.

  • *****

I am always a fan of a place that will let me order 1 pancake with whatever I decide to eat.

The menu is pretty much the same as any pancake house in Myrtle Beach. They offer waffles, pancakes, steak & eggs, chops & eggs, french toast...

So why choose this place you ask. Well if you don't want to look like a newbie in Myrtle Beach, take your friends and family to this place. They will soon figure out that most of the people that eat here are all locals. A place where they do not care what you look like nor what you are wearing. The hostess will greet you with a genuine smile and ask how you are doing, and actually mean it. I have even witnessed the hostess praying with someone that was having a bad day.

The food is actually pretty good, but please remember to order your food by number. I would recommend the omelets or pancakes if it is your first time there. If you are feeling risky go ahead and get a Belgium waffle with fruit toppings. You will not regret it.

  • *****

Wow!! Such a busy place. The staff is super friendly and they sat us quickly- even though people were pouring in. Food took a while but it was hot and delicious when it finally came. They have gluten free pancakes and waffles which is a plus. I wanted an omelet which came with grits and 2 pancakes- being gf I couldn't have either so I asked for a gluten free pancake... I was told that they would have to charge me for the pancake! ($4). Seemed a bit odd considering it was suppose to come with 2 and I was only getting 1!!!! Oh well. Still worth it.

  • *****

Top notch place to eat the food is the best and the staff is so friendly they treat everyone like family. I have eaten here every morning of our vacation. I've tried other places and they are not as good as plantation house

  • *****

Some of the best on cakes at the beach. Walked in and was seated right away. Did not take long for mourn food to come out. I had a Philly steak omelette and pancakes . Al I can say it was delicious. Go there for breakfast. You will not be disappointed!

  • *****

Great friendly service. Inexpensive considering a family of 4 with coffee, meals, and some sides was only $50 which included a $10 tip for how kind our waitress was! We were seated right away, served in a quick fashion, and the food was great. No complaints, will probably come back another morning for breakfast while we are here.

  • *****

We came to this place the day following our arrival at Myrtle Beach. The first day we played it safe and went to the Cracker Barrel and got what we would expect. Good food and good service at a reasonable price. The next day we decided not to play it safe. We are glad we did.

When we arrived at the Plantation we were greeted by a bubbly person who was excited the we were there. It was like she was waiting just for us to arrive. Just like a family's warm welcoming.

We were seated and then had our orders taken. Great service, beautiful atmosphere, the floral patterns on the furniture was interesting. My wife liked it.

We enjoyed our visit and the meal was excellent. We are going again before our vacation is ended. What a way to start your day.

  • *****

Gluten free waffle MADE MY MONTH. Yes it cost $8.50. But it was perfect Belgian fluffiness: Worth. It.
Everything else was exactly what you expect at a super busy beach breakfast joint.

  • *****

We were lucky enough to discover Plantation Pancake House early enough in my recent stay in Myrtle Beach to be able to go back there again. The prices are great, the service is perfect, and the menu has numerous variations. I will never again have breakfast at Perkins without wishing that there was a Pancake Plantation i could visit instead.

  • *****

Excellent service. Was packed when we arrived but we were seated quickly. Friendly staff who gave us great recommendations on food choice. I had country fried steak and eggs which was delicious. My husband left his phone and they had it waiting when we returned. Definitely a great breakfast spot.

  • *****

I was 6 hours overdue for dinner. I was really tired and generally irked. They filled me up and treated me right. And all that for $10 even. At 2AM. Unreal.

  • *****

Melissa was our server, her customer service was great stress very personable. The food was great only took longer bc it was 7 of us but worth the wait

  • *****

A very nice restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the service very quick. I liked the coffee pot was left on the table. The waffles were great. Only complaint was no extra napkins on table.

  • *****

What a great find in North Myrtle Beach! It was late and we were tired of bar food, plus main street was crowded from the SOS shag week people in town. (If we knew about shag week we probably would have stayed a different week.)

Our bodies were off normal dining schedules since we arrived late the first night from up north so we got into the habit of eating dinner late (didn't eat the first night until after checking into our hotel). Plus we would spend mornings at the beach and not eat lunch until late afternoon.

So by the time we wanted dinner at 10/11 PM, we searched Yelp and called this place to confirm if they are open. Perfect hours for us - they don't open until 10 PM!

The staff were very nice and the food was good and reasonably priced. I opted for non-breakfast food and my friend ordered breakfast. At the waitress' suggestion I had the grilled ham and cheese - the only down side is that the cheese seemed to be processed or velveeta, while I would have preferred better quality cheese.

  • *****

    Pleasant surprise.

    Service was friendly and prompt.

    Menu is extensive.

    Prices are reasonable.

Food was tasty and came out fast. Pancakes were chewy which I like. Omelettes were large and full of spinach and feta. Chicken n waffles were solid.

Coffee served in carafe on table for self refills. I read a review that the outside of the carafe was dirty. Well, there are coffee at subs on it. I guess the overall appearance of the place is clean, so that was a non issue for me.

We would come back and recommend this place for breakfast without reservation.

  • *****

Great breakfast and wait staff on ponit. Prices were very reasonable. Will eat here again.

  • *****

Great breakfast place that is cheap and quick with the food! Love the French toast and bacon cooked just right! Good for families too

  • *****

Food was good. We had a the pancakes, French toast, steak and eggs so all around good food. Our waitress was very nice however could have remembered the syrup the first 2 times. All in all good experience and the short wait to be seated was awesome. We will be back

  • *****

    Great breakfast and staff

Just had breakfast today at this restaurant. We have been visiting this restaurant for several years and have always left with a pleasant eating experience and a very sociable staff. On today's visit, our waitress was Jess and what a great employee she is. Very personable and accommodating. We also talked to the managers Christy and Barbie, they are great.
Would highly recommend this restaurant and maybe we'll see you there on our next visit.

  • *****

Our favorite breakfast place. We live in North Myrtle and after trying numerous restaurants for breakfast, Plantation is our favorite. We keep coming back because of the friendly staff, good food, and very reasonable prices. Jess is our favorite server and we always ask for her, even though all servers are very good. A real treat for us to have such a good restaurant only 4 blocks from our home.

  • *****

Everyone should make plans to dine at this incredible pancake house. You feel like family! Great customer service! Great food! Little wait! Our family of 14 was seated within ten minutes! And it was packed!!! The hostess even handed out paper towels for folks to dry off from the rain!!!

  • *****

I found this place on Yelp. Me and my husband are fond of having breakfast at different places. Especially when we have vacation. Even though this place was 25 minutes from our place we decided to try it. Fist of all our waitress asked us about drinks. She brought us water and unlimited refilled coffee. It was amazing. Food looks amazing and the menu was full of different options. You should try to go there and I promise that your eyes will pop out of your head eating there. I'm pancake's person. But my hubby more into omelettes. So I ordered a strawberry waffles and my husband ordered Benedict.
It is really very good place to go with family. The stuff is always fabulous with children and they have a lot of things to order for them.

Waffles with bananas : 5/5. Very delicious and good looking. And the smell is gorgeous! When I asked the waitress to bring me more bananas to my waffles she did it immediately. And after getting my bill i asked her why didn't they put them to bill she smiled and wished me a good day! I'm in love with this ace and I'm still thinking about how delicious everything tasted there!

  • *****

Great food. Great prices. You gotta try cinnamon roll and club sandwich! It's amazing. Portions are always very big, so you'll never be hungry. Wait time is either immediate seating or 5-10 minutes waiting. And it's only can happen on weekends. As for me, it was just once, 5 minutes wait.
    Food: Delicious
Service: Super friendly and very quick
Price: Cheaper than I expected at first.
Atmosphere: Not big but very cozy restaurant. I feel there like at home!
    Love it!

  • *****

Country ham is the best.......omelets are awesome. My favorite breakfast in North Myrtle Beach.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS BEYOND EXCELLENT!!!!! THE SERVICE THERE IS AMAZING. WE LOOK FORWARD TO BREAKFAST EVERY TIME WE VISIT.

  • *****

Enjoyed my breakfast this morning:. Waffles, eggs and sausage. We even tasted their newest menu addition;. Cinnamon swirl pancakes. Delicious!! You don't even need syrup.

  • *****

If you are looking for late night food or through the night Diner food, this is your stop. If you want a hearty breakfast, this is your stop. Just don't come for late lunch. They are open from 10 at night to 2 in the afternoon. Good food, family atmosphere and they can handle big families all year long.
